British Legion Serial-numbered Membership badge in Original Titled Box.

Bi-metal and enameled buttonhole membership lapel badge by the Birmingham Medal Co Ltd. The titled box bears the serial number '422224' which matches that stamped on the reverse of the badge. Complete excellent condition.
The title 'Royal' was only taken into use by the British Legion in 1971 so the badge obviously pre-dates that and is known to be of WW2 ear.  read more
