Oman : Glorious 15th National Day Medal.

This gilt Omani 15th Anniversary Medal (Midal al-'Aid al-Watani al-Khamas wa A'ashir al-Majid) was instituted on 18th November 1985 to commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the accession of Sultan Qaboos. British troops attached to Omani forces at the time received this medal. Complete with original ribbon and in near mint condition.  read more

Third Reich : Political Officer's Pebbled Rectangular Two-claw Belt-buckle.

Silvered finish pebbled rectangular buckle with double-claw fixing complete with original paper RZM "Zweidornschnalle" label stapled in place. The inner face of one side of the buckle is stamped 'RZM M5 / 71' plus the matching 'oLc' logo of Overhoff & Co. of Lüdenscheid. The RZM M5 codes were for uniform accessories whereas M4 codes were for the plate-type buckles. Unissued condition with some ...  read more

Army Under-tunic Sword-belt with Sword-slings.

Red canvas 35mm wide belt to fit upto 39" (99cms) waist with brass fittings and leather reinforcement. The two sword-slings are in gold-wire braid with red leather backing. These are probably early 20th century. Very good condition.  read more

BRD : Post-war Schülerlotsendienst Verkehrswacht Belt-buckle.

Aluminium pebbled buckle with central insert fixed with four tabs. The lettering and cross are highlighted in green. These buckles have often been identified in reference works as being wartime. They are however for the School Traffic Safety Patrols (Schülerlotsendienst Verkehrswacht) which were an independent post-war organization not connected to the Red Cross.

WW2 Pioneer Corp Plastic War-economy Cap-badge.

Brown plastic King's crown cap-badge complete with both brass blade fixings on the reverse along with the makers mark "A. Stanley & Sons, Walsall". There is also a "1.A" reference number.
Raised in 1939, The Pioneer Corps had existed previously in WW1 as The Labour Corps. After WW2 they became The Royal Pioneer Corps.  read more
