This group of items belonged to Staffordshire Special Constable Sergeant Greville Hawkins and includes his WW2 era Special Constabulary Long Service Medal, with its original box and additional long service clasp, dated 1949. Hand-embroidered crossed hammer and pliers in brown and grey on khaki. 70mm wide. The badge has a white backing and does not appear to have been worn though there is some wear to the threads.  read more
