Multi-part badge consisting of a silvered pressed tin ribbon-bow with a super-imposed crowned shield. The shield contains a celluloid-covered coloured insignia of the organization. No makers mark.
('Werkmeister, Frauenverein Cassel' is the Supervisor of the Womens' League in Kassel).

Pressed tin cross with black painted arms and a painted circular area in the centre bearing ''28' surrounded by 'Verein Ehemaliger 28er'.
The cross is suspended from a standard 'Deutsche Krieger Bund' pin-back badge with red, white & Black ribbons. The pin on the reverse is secured by a plate bearing the makers name 'Paul Kust, Berlin C19' plus 'Gesetzlich Geschutzt'.
