WW2 "Fire Guard" reversible to "SFP" (Supplementary / Street Fire Party) Printed Armband.
Navy-blue / black armband with yellow printed "Fire Guard". The armband can be turned inside out to reveal red printed "SFP" inside. The civilian Fire Guards were replaced in late 1940 by Supplementary Fire Parties who were subsequently renamed Street Fire Parties. These were all to assist the Fire, Police and ARP services during the air-raids / Blitz.. Excellent condition and quite scarce. read more
