('Werkmeister, Frauenverein Cassel' is the Supervisor of the Womens' League in Kassel).

The cross is suspended from a standard 'Deutsche Krieger Bund' pin-back badge with red, white & Black ribbons. The pin on the reverse is secured by a plate bearing the makers name 'Paul Kust, Berlin C19' plus 'Gesetzlich Geschutzt'.
