Standard two-piece "Dieu et mon Droit" King's crown brass buckle on a white patent /plastic coated fine leather adjustable belt. I am led to believe these were an emergency / economy belt produced to ensure that all ranks taking part in the 1953 coronation were suitably attired. Very good condition. On the outer back of the belt is a reversed faint ink impression 'Piper F Redfern'.  read more

BRD : West German WW2 Pattern Fire Service Steel-helmet.

WW2 pattern steel-helmet as used postwar by the Feuerwehr.
Nice black original finish overall with only very minor scuffing. No dents or damage, complete with padded crown, leather liner, draw-string and chin-strap all in excellent condition. This one must date from the late '60s/'70s and is stamped in the nape with the German Standard Number 'DIN 14940 ' and a circular maker's logo.  read more

Now obsolete, this badge was worn between 1974 and 1987 by the Leicestershire & Rutland Fire Service. Gilt and enamel centre-piece secured by prongs to a chromed fire-service star. The reverse has lugs and split-pin fixings. Near mint condition.  read more

Anodised-aluminium Staybrite Queen's crown cap-badge with slider fixing on the reverse. The slider is stamped 'J.R.Gaunt London'.
Formed from amalgamations in 1966, the RGJ together with The Light Infantry were part of The Light Division. In 2007 however, the RGJ was amalgamated with The Light Infantry and other LI regiments to form The Rifles.  read more
