Spain : Spanish M43 Mauser S84/98 Bayonet with Scabbard. :

Spanish version of the standard German Kar98 combat bayonet with wood grips. There is no oil hole in the grips. All metal parts are deeply blued. There are no maker's marks though the ricasso is stamped ''P.R.8' (Parque de Reparacion 8) indicating that the bayonet had passed through a Spanish military maintenance depot such as PR8 for inspection, reconditioning, or re-issue. The cross-piece is stamped '57'. The base of the blade has its original thick leather washer as a buffer to the scabbard. The steel scabbard has no markings. The bayonet pommel has a smoothly working stud-catch.
The whole item is in overall near mint condition with only some very minor spotting to the scabbard.
