Third Reich : Sturmabteilung (SA) Bandsman's Brownshirt.

Standard original SA brown blouse/shirt with all original buttons, pebbled brass belt-hooks, black & white single-twist collar piping and loops on the shoulders for bandsman 'swallows nests' The shirt is devoid of any insignia and shows only to have ever had an epaulette on the right shoulder. The shirt has turn-back cuffs for cuff-link fastening. The removable front main buttons and pocket-flap buttons are copper-gilt and have various 'Qualität' markings on the reverse. The inside rear shoulders and waist-band are lined with white cloth. There are no labels or stamps in the shirt. It has one very minor hardly noticeable click in the.cloth and is very slightly grubby aftyer years of storage.. I acquired this shirt together with the SA corded breeches (Item 54352) in March 1979 and they have been on a coat-hanger, untouched since then.
This could look very smart if correctly badged-up.
